Top 5 ways to grow your prospect list

With 2021 quickly drawing to a close, it’s a good time to reflect on the hard work you’ve put in this past year, so you can take a well-earned break and come back fresh, renewed and ready to make your business vision a reality in 2022.

Aligning ourselves with the natural rhythms of the earth, the end of our calendar year is the ideal time to bring a sense of completion to your business activities.

December is the perfect time to review and finalise your to-do list and evaluate your sales funnel. This way, you’ll have a plan of action for the new year and can rest over the holidays without your ‘sales pipeline’ weighing on your mind.

That’s why we’ve put together ‘Top 5 ways to grow your prospect list’. Using these ideas, you’ll be able to reliably share doTERRA’s wellness philosophy with new people and open the floodgates to growth, enrolments and rewards in the New Year.

With a little forward-planning, you can get those doTERRA ‘P-I-P-E-S’ flowing, releasing blockages and generating authentic interest in what you do. Get ready to feel the rush of excitement that naturally comes from taking more and more people with you on this life-changing journey with doTERRA.

Top 5 ways to grow your prospect list:

  1. Request to be a speaker at a wellness event. Volunteer to discuss a topic you’re passionate about, even if isn’t directly related to essential oils. This raises your profile and gives you access to a whole new list of attendees, who could potentially be added to your prospect list.

  2. Join social media groups with like-minded people. Expanding your social media presence, especially among those with similar interests, can not only give you support and a sense of belonging, but can also broaden your network…and grow your prospect list.

  3. Create a signature DIY recipe card that includes your contact details. This is handy for you and useful for others. Give it to anyone interested in your passion for essential oils. If they enjoyed the recipe and want to try more, they’ll know who to call, and you can immediately add them to your prospect list.

  4. Take note of who is engaging with your social media posts and add them to your prospect list. If you have followers on your social media accounts that are engaging with your posts but are not yet your enrollee’s – add them to your prospect list. Remember, not all of your followers should be prospects, but anyone that you notice regularly liking, sharing or sending you direct messages about what you do are following your lead and should be added to your prospect list.

  5. Make the most of doTERRA corporate events. doTERRA is soon to announce all corporate events for the first quarter of 2022. You can invite people to these events to introduce them to the culture and values of doTERRA. This is a great way to turn leads into solid prospects and get lots of people engaged and excited about the benefits of working with doTERRA. Stay tuned to Eventbrite for more details on our upcoming event calendar.

We hope these tips help you shake off that ‘stuck’ feeling in 2022 and give you a cushion for those days, weeks and sometimes months when you’re struggling to build and find new people to invite to your doTERRA experiences.

It’s important to remember that you’re certainly not alone if you’re experiencing blockages in your PIPES, especially through the prospecting stage, but with a commitment to consistency and more efficient prospecting you’re sure to have a steady stream going in…and coming out of your PIPES!

HOT TIP:

Write a list of the top 5-10 prospects in your pipeline. Where are they in the PIPES? Are they at the enrol stage? These are the first people you should catch up with when you return from holidays.

Organise your time and your effort by remembering the doTERRA PIPES!! See below.

Stay tuned to our next blog where we’ll run through the enrolment stage and help you become the most supportive leader you can be.
