在中華文化和草藥保健中運用甜橘已有很久歷史。甜橘精油的香甜、濃郁的香氣，類似其他柑橘類精油，令人心曠神怡，而且具有清潔功效。使用甜橘精油還能舒緩焦慮情緒，也可添加在甜品和飲品，不論是清水還是水果冰沙都可以，甜橘在任何食譜中能帶出柑橘的香味。
用途
- 於蛋糕和餅乾等食譜中加入兩至三滴精油調味。
- 於清水、冰沙、茶飲或檸檬水中加入一至兩滴精油增添風味。
- 於手心倒入一至二滴精油，搓勻雙手後蓋住鼻口 深呼吸30秒，或於房間內擴香以增加活力及提振心情。
- 於關節或腹部塗抹能帶來愉悅感。按照需要用分餾椰子油稀釋降低過敏。
使用方式
擴香：在所選的噴霧器中滴三至四滴精油擴香。
內服：於118毫升的飲品中加入一滴精油稀釋飲用。
外用：於所需部位滴一至兩滴精油並塗抹均勻。可使用基底油稀釋減少肌膚過敏，請參照下列注意事項。
注意事項
可能引致肌膚敏感。遠離兒童。若閣下是孕婦、正在哺乳或病人，使用前請諮詢醫生意見。應避免接觸眼睛、內耳及敏感部位。使用後 12 小時內請避免陽光或紫外線照射。
