Aphrodite Shinnick

It took just over four months for Aphrodite to begin sharing the oils. Alongside her upline, Aphrodite started running essential oil workshops and realised that the classes were enabling her to share the things she loved and was passionate about with people who were open to hearing about them.

 

Since signing up in November 2015, Aphrodite’s journey has seen her go from strength to strength. Along this path, she has utilised the support available to her, including attending doTERRA events, speaking to her Uplines, Account Managers and other Wellness Advocates around the world. “I speak to Account Managers and my Upline fortnightly and other doTERRA Sisters in between for support with what is and is not working in our business.”

 

The ability to believe plays a central role in Aphrodite’s achievements. A belief in doTERRA’s products and how they are helping millions around the world, as well as a belief in herself to achieve her business goals, have all contributed to Aphrodite’s success. In addition, she uses daily affirmations and vision boards to support her in achieving her goals. She affirms, “feel it has happened, believe it has happened, and it will.” Aphrodite took it one step further when she was working to achieve the rank of Gold, saying “I changed my password on my mobile and laptop to ‘GOLD’ and changed my screensaver to the colour gold!”

 

Reflecting on her journey since being introduced to doTERRA, Aphrodite has come a long way. In February 2016, Aphrodite made the decision to become a chemical-free home, now making all of the family’s washing powder, toiletries and cleaning products from scratch. With this came peace of mind for Aphodite, “knowing that what I am cleaning with or placing onto our skin is not harming us.”

 

Today, Aphrodite stays motivated through her Why. She says, “My Why is helping others realise that essential oils are natural and safe, and also my beautiful little family; I look at my beautiful supportive husband and am grateful every day for what we have.”

 

Aphrodite appreciates the importance of moving at a pace that feels right and not running someone else’s race. Having met many others who are along a doTERRA journey, she has learnt that one needs to do what works best for them, “you meet like-minded people who don’t just become your friends, but your family. I have doTERRA sisters that I speak to weekly or monthly that I met in Fiji [on Incentive Trip 2017]; we help and support one another. We are all at different stages of this oily journey in this business, but we all here with one common goal: to help others.”
